Long-Wave Diathermy

In a long-wave diathermy treatment session, the patient is positioned comfortably, and the diathermy machine is set up by a trained therapist. The machine generates radio waves, which are focused on the targeted area using either a capacitive or inductive applicator. Long wave diathermy should be administered by trained healthcare professionals, and proper precautions should be followed to ensure the safety of the patient.

Faradic current

Faradic current is primarily used for muscle stimulation and contraction. When applied to the motor points of muscles, it can help improve muscle strength, restore muscle function, and prevent muscle atrophy. It can be beneficial in cases where muscles have been weakened due to injury, surgery, or neurological conditions. The machine produces a pulsed current with alternating polarity, creating a tingling or buzzing sensation when applied to the body.

Interferential Treatment

It is thought that interferential treatment operates in a number of ways. By activating the nerves and obstructing the transmission of pain signals to the brain, it can first aid in pain relief. It is believed that the low-frequency current produced by the crossing currents has analgesic properties. Numerous musculoskeletal disorders, including back pain, joint discomfort, sprains, strains, and sports injuries, are frequently treated using interferential treatment.

Advanced combination therapy

Advanced combination therapy refers to a medical treatment approach that involves the use of multiple therapies or interventions in combination to achieve better outcomes in the management of a disease or condition. This approach recognizes that different therapies may have complementary mechanisms of action or target different aspects of the disease, leading to enhanced efficacy or reduced resistance compared to single-agent therapies
